The Church Office plays a central role in the life of St Philip & St James Church as it supports much of the work of this very busy church and community centre.

The office is part of the church building to the right hand side of the main door. It was set up in 1989 when the church realised that the growing ministry needed an administration base for it to flourish.

The office is open every week of the year from Monday to Friday from 9am - 1pm and from 2pm - 5pm (except Bank Holidays and the week after Christmas).

The reception area is manned by voluntary staff who are there to meet, greet and help those coming through the doors. They also assist in admin duties of Church Administrator Tim Conroy who works in the neighbouring room. Communications co-ordinator Gill Skuse also works part-time in the office.

The office is very up-to-date with photocopying, printing facilities, fax, laminating and broadband internet access and email. The work is supported by a small network of computers which have facilities for word processing, desktop publishing, presentations, web design and music and video editing. Church and community members are welcome to come and use these facilities (although there is a charge for materials used).
