Bishop and qamar Medium  

The new Bishop of Bath and Wells meets Qamar at the Bishop's Palace in Wells. Bishop Peter was very concerned about the plight of Christians in Pakistan and pleased to hear of St Philip's mission work in Peshawar. He said he would to do all he could to support us.

St Philip's Mission Hut is now open! In 2015 we aim to reflect on the last 33 years of overseas mission. Bring your memories of St Philip's mission links to pin on the board for others to read. At the end we will compile a joint reflection from everyone.

IMG 7867 Medium   Following the terrible attack on a school in Peshawar, side effects Pakistan, find leaving 141 dead, order mostly children, the St Philips Peshawar team are setting out to help the victims of the shootings. A new appeal was launched in Bath Abbey today and you can see the project in Bath Abbey prayer chapel for the next month.

St Philips Christmas Mission kicks off with the 3 Kings travelling on camels from Noads Corner in the  East to the crib in the west. It's just the beginning - watch out for St Philips Carol Bus on the streets of Odd Down for the next two weeks.

A team of five from St Philips spent a weekend visiting our linked church in Vsetin in the east of the Czech Republic on the Slovak border. The church there has helped us with our holiday clubs and the Ukraine English camps over the last 4 years. The team were Alan, Jim, Sue, Jenny and Gill.
