ROOM

DURING LENT

King David modelled a powerful lifestyle of 24-hour prayer and worship around the presence of God.  Every Lent, we open our prayer room to do the same.

During the last two years in particular, we've witnessed significant shifts in our worship and the level of glory at St Philip's.

The Prayer Room allows people to book an hour (or more!) in the presence.  Individuals, small groups and Home Groups gather.  Throughout Lent, we have open sessions of prayer and worship.  Three times during the season, we have three blocks of 24-hours periods of uninterrupted prayer.

St Philip's Fire Collective supports the vision and ministry of the Prayer Room.  Together its members ensure that the fire of intercession remains burning throughout Lent.

River Worship sessions are extended times of adoration.  Many who engage with the Prayer Room also fast during Lent as part of Holy Hunger.

Bookings for slots open the week before Lent.
